As a person who is all about community, this platform is all that and then some. I love the posts and commentary featured by everyone here.

Community means the world to me. But for so long, the only communal vibes I felt were from a virtual standpoint.

That all changed on Feb. 7 when we moved to a new neighborhood.

Praise God. I now have community connections with my neighbors. They welcomed us with open arms.

I've had heartwarming conversations with three different residents. One of them even gave us a homemade plate of banana nut bread.

There is true power in a close-knit community. I already felt that virtually on this site. I can now say I'm experiencing the same emotions through face-to-face interactions here on the south side.
